• The Saudi Industrial Investment Group is Saudi shareholding company, established in accordance with the company's rules issued as per royal decree number m/6 dated 22.3.1385H.

  • In 1996 is was given the registration number 1010139946 dated 10/8/1416H , with a capital of SR550 million . The capital increased in the year 2003 to become SR 1,200 million divided into 24 million equal shares, each share value is fifty Saudi Riyals.

  • The company's activities are in the field of improving and developing the industrial base in the Kingdom, especially, the petrochemical industries, give the opportunity to the private sector to participate in other industries using the petrochemical industries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • In 1997 the company started its first project in corporation with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company at Jubail in a project with total cost of SR2,440 million Saudi Riyals, in the name of (Saudi Chevron Philips Company).

  • The project started production in 2000 , it achieved profits from the time it started which exceeded SR 1,700 million.

  • In 2001 both partners (Chevron Phillips Chemical and SIIG) agreed to execute a new project under the name of Jubail Chevron Philips with a total cost of SR4,500 million , this project is currently under construction and is expected to start production in the second half of 2007.

  • For purposes of funding the Jubail Chevron Philips project, the company increased the capital from SR550 million to SR1,200 million. This increases was covered by the current shareholders in addition to the Retirement Entitlements Fund entering a major shareholder.

  • The company distributed profits in the year 2002 equal to 5%, the board of directors agreed on recommendation to the general assembly to distribute 5% in the year 2003.

  • The company distributed profits in the year 2004 equal to 8%. SIIG increased its capital in 2005 from 1,200 Million SR to 1,800 Million SR by distributing one share per every two shares owned by shareholders, which raised the number of shares from 24 Million to 36 Million shares.

  • During 2006 the share value of SIIG stock was divided by five, lowering the share value from 50SR to 10SR and increasing the number of shares from 36 Million to 180 Million shares

  • SIIG increased its capital in 2006 from 1,800 Million SR to 2,250 Million SR by distributing one share per every four shares owned by shareholders, which raised the number of shares from 180 Million to 225 Million shares.

  • SIIG doubled its capital in 2008 from 2,250 Million SR to 4,500 Million SR thru a Rights Issue to its current shareholders of one share per every share owned, at 10SR each. This raised the number of shares from 225 Million to 450 Million shares.

Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP) was formed in August 2003 as a joint venture between Saudi Industrial Investment Group SIIG, and Chevron Phillips Chemicals Company CPChem, to produce Styrene and Propylene .

The expected startup date is during the forth quarter of 2007.

 

Jubail Chevron Phillips productions will include:

  • Propylene 150 KMT

  • Motor Gasoline 300 KMT
